Chocolate chip cookies
I did something today that I rarely do. I bore testimony of my Savior--or at least I tried to-- all the crying and nervousness made it hard to get my point across. I hope some of it made sense, at least.
I believe that Jesus Loves Me! That he knows my struggles and my heartaches. He does know how to comfort me and sometimes it is as silly as a chocolate chip cookie. Today, someone brought me chocolate chip cookies after church. I mentioned my love in my testimony and immediately felt embarassed by doing so. I was not hinting for sisters to bring me cookies-- though it turned out better than I imagined : )! I was trying to say that My Savior knows me, he knows me well enough to bless me with simple things as well as big things--and sometimes a cookie is just the thing.
So, remember God loves you. He knows you intimately, your struggles along with your joys!
I am going to go enjoy a cookie and hope that most of the people who heard my testimony got what I was trying to say.
