Angel Baby
I am at work right now. Wyatt came with me today, since it is Christmas Eve and the office is only open for half a day. Plus, Wade has his hands full being in charge of all packing and both of our rowdy dogs. We will be leaving for WY as soon as I am freed.
Wyatt had to wake up early this morning. He is used to sleeping in until 8:30 or 9 so 7 seemed to upset him. He just looked at me rubbed his eyes and pulled the blanky up over most of his face. No good morning smiles and giggles today.
We made it to work fine. He slept in the car but woke as I struggled to haul him up the stairs to my office. Tired but happy he sat looking up at me while I worked. Co-workers arrived and pulled him out to play, which he enjoyed for an hour or so. Then the sleepy whine started and I wondered how I was going to handle this?? Eventually after trying to rock him to sleep I simply laid him in his carseat with his blanky up against his cheek and a paci in his mouth and he quickly and quietly dosed off.
It's been an hour since I heard from him. I wish I could bring him everyday. He truly is an Angel Child.
