Well, it has been a few weeks now since I said good bye to my day job. In all honesty I rarely think of it nor do I miss it like I thought I would before I gave my notice. I hung on to that job well longer than I should have because I wanted to weigh it all out in my mind. Looking back now, I laugh that I thought I had an impact on the place... that I worried what would happen if I left. Silly me.
Daily I am reminded of the impact I have on Wy's life. Yesterday, he learned No more Monkeys jumping on the bed and today Ring around the rosey.
So even though I am still working full-time, and spending my days chasing my own little Monkey around. I am happy. Glad that even though it should have been a easy decision, that in the end I made the right one. That now I can spend my time without the worries that I carried around with me. Worries of the office, worries of the sitters, worries, worries, worries.
